Deliberate dreaming

I’ve been reading Ester and Jerry Hicks’ “The Amazing Power of Deliberate Intent” for several months now. I’ve been so resistant to it, I can’t even begin to tell you. But, I’ve been plodding along, through it. Additionally, I’ve been taking SARK’s Dream Boogie class (for the second time), and an amazing thing has happened. [...]

Virtual rooms

And so it is that the stress of all my goings on, specifically at work, got the better of me. Not a horrible thing in and of itself, but an occurrence nonetheless.
What is it about what feels like mass chaos that makes our insides turn inside out?

Play Thoughts

Play is a word that generates feelings of freedom and openness. When I think of a child at play, I envision an improvisational involvement. That activity can bring focus and understanding.

Shhhhhh -

I’m being quiet right now.
Check back in a couple of weeks, I’ll have some new and interesting things to share.
In the mean time - enjoy the season you’re in…

Angels among us

And so it is. Is it true? Are there really angels among us? I believe there are. They come in all shapes and sizes.
There are angels who care for an aging parent that is separated by distance from her children. Thank you, angels.

Splendidly imperfect

In the spirit of all that is splendidly imperfect, I’m going to celebrate what is imperfect in my world. Care to join me?
I made a recipe this weekend, doubled part of it and didn’t double the other part — oops! (It’s still edible :-)  )

The Push

I found myself inspired by this little piece by David McNally –
The Push
The eagle gently coaxed her offspring toward the edge of the nest.
Her heart quivered with conflicting emotions as she felt their resistance to her persistent nudging.
“Why does the thrill of soaring have to begin with the fear of falling?” she thought.

Naked Truth?

I spent a few moments pondering trees. And then, a scrumptious idea was presented. Curious?
First - a bit about my tree ponderings…
I suppose trees feel vulnerable when they lose all their leaves. When the flowery, green, yummy leaves are gone, all that is left is the naked truth of the tree. It seems me, however, [...]

A juicy journaling moment

I’m participating in a great little email course called Juicy Journaling. One of my inspirational author friends (I call her friend, because her books are like reading personal letters),  SARK, has developed this amazing little course that is brimming with goodness, invitations to grow, and my little writer self is being lavishly fed. It is, indeed, [...]

One step at a time - Results

Well, so far, so good! I’m 3 pounds lighter today than I was last week. This is great news.
It feels good to see progress toward my goal.
Body - what do you think about all this hubub?
I believe my body feels more respected.
Weekends — oh gosh — out of routine, and all types of opportunities [...]
